Where your information lives
Where are my medications and logs kept?
On your phone. Medication lists, logs and notes are stored on your device, not on Belle Vie’s servers.
How do share links work?
A share link is end-to-end encrypted in the app. Belle Vie’s server stores only the encrypted copy, which we cannot read, until the link expires (after at most 30 days) or you turn it off.
What happens when I scan a page?
With Smart Read, the photo is sent to Belle Vie’s reading service and processed by our AI provider, Anthropic, to return the text. It is not used to train AI models, and Belle Vie does not keep it. Always check scanned text against the original label or instructions.
Is there advertising or tracking?
No. There is no advertising and no tracking, and we never sell your data. Our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explain the details.
A caregiver log, not medical advice
Belle Vie Care helps family caregivers record and organize the care they give. It does not give medical advice, check doses or decide whether a medication should be given, and it does not replace your hospice team, doctor or pharmacist.
Always follow the instructions your hospice team gives you. For any change in your loved one’s condition, call your hospice agency’s 24-hour line. In an emergency, call 911.
